April, 1980D.I.Engineering Corporation (hereafter, DIEC) was established as an evenly invested joint-venture among Takeuchi Press Industries, Watanabe Machine Works and Masajiro Okuno. Paid-in capital was 3,750,000 yen.
August, 1980DIEC became an official dealer of Belvac Production Machinery (USA).
July, 1988DIEC established D.I.Engineering Corporation of America (DIEA) as its wholly owned affiliate in Golden, Colorado, USA.
October, 1988DIEC established D.I. Parts and Service Corporation (DIPS) as its wholly owned affiliate in Japan. DIPS started the operation of its parts center.
February, 1989DIPS was appointed by Ragsdale Machinery Operations (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its official service center for the decorator, basecoater and bodymaker.
March, 1991Paid-in capital was increased to 35,000,000 yen.
March, 1992DIEC was appointed by Ragsdale Machinery Operations (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent in Japan.
April, 1992DIEC was appointed by Formatec Tooling Systems (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent in Japan.
August, 1993DIEC was appointed by Randolph Machinery Operations (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent in Japan.
February, 1997Paid-in capital was increased to 49,875,000 yen.
May, 1997DIEC established D.I.E.C. Singapore Pte, Ltd. (DIES) as its wholly owned affiliate in Singapore. DIES started the operation of its parts center for East & Southeast Asian and Oceanian countries. DIES was appointed by APM (now called Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent authorized to sell its genuine parts in the region.
1998DIEC was appointed by Crown Simplimatic (now called Ambec Inc.) as its sole agent in Japan.
May, 1998Mr. Masajiro Okuno (founder) became chairman, and Mr. Hiroshi Yamazaki was named president.
April, 2000DIEC was appointed by Hartness International as its sole agent in Japan.
April, 2001DIEC was appointed by Belvac Production Machinery as its sole agent in Japan.
September, 2001DIEC and DIPS moved to the new office in downtown Tokyo.
2002DIEC was appointed by Ocme s.r.l. as its sole agent in Japan.
March, 2002DIEC was appointed by Republic Sales & Manufacturing as its sole agent in Japan.
August, 2002DIPS was merged into DIEC. Paid-in capital was increased to 68,625,000 yen.
May, 2004DIEC was appointed by Sensor Wireless as its sole agent in Japan.
March, 2005DIEC was appointed by Stolle Machinery (the former Stolle Machinery, Alcoa Packaging Machinery, Preferred Machining and Redicon) as its sole agent in Japan.
March, 2005DIES was appointed by Stolle Machinery as the sole agent authorized to sell its genuine parts in Southeast Asian and Oceanian countries.
